Taplow House Hotel is an exclusive wedding venue located on the edge of Maidenhead and the historic Burnham Beaches. This elegant mansion dating from 1598 is situated in 6 acres of picturesque woodland, lending itself perfectly to an English Country wedding.
As you sweep into the driveway the gardens with our impressive trees present a magnificent location for any wedding. The house has been beautifully restored throughout and tailor made wedding packages are available to suit the wishes for any couple.
All our 32 bedrooms are spacious and elegant exuding country house charm and comfort with complimentary accommodation offered for the Bride and Groom. Each room is individually designed and beautifully restored to the style of the period as well as including everything you may need for a stay away from home.
We have 2 suites licensed for civil ceremonies, The Tulip Tree licensed for 110 and The Grenfell Suite licensed for 80 guests. The rooms are beautifully presented with antique mirrors and period features. The Tulip Tree has doors that open onto the terrace overlooking the grounds. Either room will provide the perfect setting for your perfect day.
The Wedding Manager Melissa Docherty has vast experience in all areas of weddings at event planning and oversees the wedding department at Taplow House Hotel. Once you have made that all important decision of picking your venue, Melissa or our Wedding Coordinator Aimee Dale will take you through each stage of your day and introduce you to the many options you have within your wedding package as well as choosing the many optional extras we can offer. We can recommend suppliers for flowers, photography, and much more as well as being a useful source of advice. Our one bride policy and on the day attendance guarantees that you will be given all of the attention and dedication you deserve.
