Real Weddings ~ Katy & Simon's Grand Christmas Wedding by Tino & Pip

Tino & Pip aka Penny and Martin are a fun, loving couple, who photograph fabulous weddings, family photoshoots, contemporary style shoots and commercial photography. They love people who, like them, want to do things their way! They love to capture characters and relationships - building a relationship with their clients the part of their job that they enjoy the most. The more they know about you, the more creative they can be!
When Penny and I first started talking about featuring Tino & Pip on my blog I was beyond excited but when I saw the wedding they wanted to share I was thrilled. I absolutely love Christmas weddings, everything about them is just so magical – and it is a perfect time to get married as many venues are already filled with gorgeous Christmas trees and fairy lights so you can save a fortune on your decorating budget!

In their own words Tino & Pip describe this beautiful Christmas wedding.

“We do love a Christmassy wedding, and when we received this gorgeous invitation, we couldn’t help but get excited by a trip to The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne! (Artwork courteously supplied by the bride’s 4 year old niece!)
There was always going to be a chance of a wintry shower or two, and while Katy and the bridal party were happily cocooned in the warmth of the beauty salon, Simon found himself fighting through yet another flurry of snow! Of course the traditional nature of The Grand screamed out for a rather classic treatment in our photography. The lovely warm lighting was a great contrast to the cold outside.

Luckily there wasn’t too much disruption from the weather, and as the wedding was held entirely within The Grand’s cavernous interior, once the guests had arrived they didn’t have to brave the snow at all. Simon decided it wasn’t all that bad though…

With the end of the wedding breakfast, guests were invited to attend the stunningly lit basement room, where the band was ready and waiting to lead the entertainments for the evening.

At the entrance to the room Katy & Simon had provided a special plate for the guests to sign – a few minutes in the oven and it’s all ready to be displayed as a gorgeous commemorative memento of the big day!

We left the cute couple sharing a private moment – the perfect end to our day, but we hear the festivities continued long after we had left! Here’s wishing a great future to Katy & Simon, and thanks again for inviting us to share such a wonderful day”

And thank you Tino & Pip for sharing your beautiful work with Ruby.
