Ruby News - Ellie Sanderson 1st Birthday & Best Bridal Retailer Award Celebration Party

After a wonderful Bank Holiday I was invited to a party to celebrate the success of a fabulous Bridal Boutique in Oxford.  Ellie Sanderson's Oxford store was not only celebrating its first year in business but also winning the UKs Best Bridal Retailer Award - the youngest business of its kind to win!

There were suppliers, lots of industry experts, brides and local businesses all supporting the wonderful team at Ellie Sanderson.  The guest list read like a wedding who's who......dress designers Sassi Holford (who drove all the way from Taunton and back just for the evening) and Alan & Marguerite Hannah delighted us with their attendance along with sparkles from Tantrums and Tiaras.

Keeping up appearances were gorgeous make up ladies, Kaz Fernando and Joyce from Brides & Beauty. There were Wedding Planners a plenty with Tamryn Kirby, Julie Tooby, Sarah Ducker and of course me!

Mad Max of the fabulous Big Bang kept us fed with his delicious, ethically sourced British sausage & mash and Sam from What a Fab Party made some tasty nibbles and kept the alcohol flowing all night long.

Tara from the award winning Chocolate Blush kept Ellie sweet with her hand made Cinnamon truffles and the delightful Hester of Sweet Tier Cakes made the beautiful and extremely delicious lemon birthday cake.

David Bostock, The Bridal Photographer extraordinaire and Ellie's husband was given the night off from behind the camera and his amazing assistant Lindy was busy snapping away all night.

Ellie has a great team of girls who are all so passionate about their work - Nicola, Manager of the Oxford store, Laura, Manager of the Beaconsfield store, Miss Bea, Eira, Diane, Julia, Georgina, Sam & Emma.

It really was a great evening that brought together a whole host of people from many different industries to celebrate the wonderful achievements of the lady who all know as Ellie!  Here's to you Ellie, can't wait to see what next year has in store for you.
