Supplier Spotlight - The Delicious Cake Company

Like so many fabulous wedding suppliers The Delicious Cake Company was set up when a pleasurable hobby took over and turned into a business!

Jem is so passionate about what she does and about providing a complete service to couples whether that is recreating a cake they have seen or developing with them the cake of their dreams. Each cake is tailor made for each couple so even if they choose an existing design she will try and go that little bit further to make it extra special and to add a personal or unique touch.
Couples can be as involved as they wish, choosing from a variety of flavours and fillings, toppings and finishings or Jem is just as happy for them to describe what they want and leave her to it - she loves it when her creative juices get flowing!
Every cake is made with the best and freshest possible ingredients to get an outstanding taste and one which all the guests will remember well past the wedding day.  Also on offer are miniature versions of the wedding cakes - perfect for the first year anniversary gift!
Jem is very comfortable and confident in what she does and many people that start off as customers become friends and repeat orderers. Many a time she makes the wedding cake, then christenings, birthdays and anniversary cakes all for the same couples!
"Each cake is created in my kitchen and delivered to the chosen venue where it is lovingly set up as if it was my own wedding cake. I understand how important a cake is and becomes. It’s not just a mixture of flour and eggs; it becomes one of the main parts of a wedding with the joint task of the bride and groom cutting the cake symbolizing their first joint task in married life!"

As well as the more traditional wedding cakes Jem can also offer cupcake towers and cookie favours to really add that something special and take the stress out of another part of the day.

If that isn't enough deliciousness for you - Jem is offering a 10% discount to anyone that mentions Ruby Weddings at the time of booking - how great is that!

Lots of Love
